The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)

The DEEWR website contains information on government policies and programs related to early childhood and child care. The website also has information related to education and youth, tertiary education and skills, employment, Indigenous Australians and workplace relations.


The Office of Early Childhood Education and Child Care (OECECC)

The OECECC website contains information on early childhood education and child care for families, services and researchers. The OECECC is a part of DEEWR.


The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA)

The FaHCSIA website provides services and assistance to promote healthy family relationships and gives families the opportunities to take part in their local communities. FaHCSIA also helps families experiencing changes to their financial and social circumstances.


Workplace Ombudsman

The Workplace Ombudsman has commenced a National Human Services Campaign to ensure businesses understand and are complying with Commonwealth workplace relations laws. The Campaign will focus on the Child Care Industry in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland and the Aged Care Industry in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia. 

This campaign will pay particular attention to ensuring workers are paid in accordance with their minimum entitlements and that time and wages records comply with the provisions of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, the Workplace Relations Regulations 2006 and relevant industrial instruments.
