Professional Support Coordinators
Professional Support Coordinators are funded by the Australian Government
Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)
to assist all services as they progress through CCQA.

Communities at Work aims to support, promote and
develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that underpin quality care
within the children's services profession. Communities at
Work offer assistance to children's services to enhance their
capacity to provide quality for children, including:
- Advice and information for children's services professionals
- Taking referrals online (www.psconline.com.au)
and through a toll free number 1800 228 772
- Bicultural support
- A general library
- Specialist equipment
- Opportunities for professional development such as a training
calendar, customised workshops, networking sessions and conferences
to promote the sharing of knowledge and ideas

Children's Services Central is funded by the Australian Government
as the Professional Support Coordinator in NSW.
Children's Services Central supply support, training and resourcing
to enable services to participate in the CCQA
systems. Children's Services Central also supply additional resourcing
and support to those services having difficulty in meeting CCQA
standards.

PSC
- NT is the contact point for Australian Government approved
child care services that require support, training or information. They
aim to promote and maintain high quality care and inclusion for all
children in eligable child care services by increasing the skills of
carers, service staff and management, in line with nationally consistent
principles.

The Health and Community Services Workforce Council is funded by DEEWR to coordinate the Professional Support Coordinator Queensland (PSCQ)
project. The project's aim is to develop and improve the quality and
consistency of children's services in Queensland. To achieve this PSCQ
provides professional support and learning activities to enhance the
skill development of child care staff, management and volunteers. The
types of activities PSCQ
provides include a general and specialist resource collection, web-based
resources, professional advice and support and localised training and
learning opportunities.

The Gowrie Training Centre provides training support and consultancy
to support children's services to work towards achieving high quality
programs for children and families. We assist services to work towards
continuous improvement in quality system, curriculum and management
practice. Assist careers and staff to gain skills and qualifications.
All services are relevant, up to date and responsive to the sector.

Lady Gowrie Tasmania is a community owned organisation, governed by
a voluntary Board of Directors. The organisation provides a range of
services to children, families and early childhood professionals. It
is funded by the Federal Government to act as a Professional Support
Coordinator in Tasmania. In this role, Lady Gowrie Tasmania promotes
and supports quality care and inclusion for all children, by increasing
the skill level of those who provide these services.

Community Child Care is the peak body for community owned children's
services in Victoria. It is funded by the Australian Government as the
Victorian Professional Support Coordinator to provide support, advice
and referrals for all eligible children's services in Victoria. Community
Child Care is the lead agency for the NATMAA
consortium, delivering training to the OSHC
sector on Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance (OSHCQA).

an initiative of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program, funded
by the Australian Government, to facilitate support for all child care
services to participate in the CCQA
systems.
Child Inclusive Learning and Development Australia is a community based organisation that aims to increase the equity of
access and participation for all children, with a broader role of advocacy
for the children's services industry through the provision of information
resources and high quality professional development opportunities. Child Inclusive Learning and Development Australia has a team of professional, multidisciplinary staff that believe in
building inclusive communities and environments for children and their
care providers.
