Hyperlink Policy

Guidelines for Linking to this Site

NCAC appreciates being notified of any hyperlink to this website. Please inform NCAC if you intend to link to this site by e-mailing qualitycare@ncac.gov.au with your organisation name and web address.

Please ensure that the following guidelines are followed when installing a hyperlink from your website to the site.

  • "Putting Children First" is a registered trademark and cannot be displayed on your website
  • Please ensure that any text or image contained on your site cannot be misinterpreted as having the support or endorsement of NCAC
  • Hyperlinks should only be made to the NCAC home page www.ncac.gov.au. Do not place a direct hyperlink to any other page within the NCAC website
  • Please do not place a link to the NCAC site such that our web pages appear within a frame of your website

Where NCAC has knowledge of a link from another organisation, NCAC will ensure that the information contained in the other website complies with copyright and in no way harms the reputation or the integrity of NCAC.


NCAC Policy on Linking To Other Websites

The following policy was developed to ensure consistency in NCAC's approach to linking its website with websites managed by other organisations.

Links from NCAC site to another organisation's site will be allowed in the following situations (subject to discretion on a case by case basis):
  • To relevant Australian Government agencies or departments
  • To relevant State Government agencies or departments
  • To relevant community organisations, associations, health agencies and educational institutions with a professional interest in child care issues

NCAC will not charge a fee to link from its website to the sites of the organisations as outlined in points above.

NCAC will seek the approval or cooperation of the organisation in order to link to that organisation's website.

Links from the NCAC website to another organisation's website will not be undertaken in the following situations:

  • Individual child care services
  • Commercial organisations or businesses
