About NCACThe National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) is responsible for the implementation and administration of Child Care Quality Assurance (CCQA) systems for family day care schemes, long day care centres and outside school hours care services throughout Australia. NCAC is committed to ensuring that the information held by NCAC regarding child care services*, Validators** and Moderators*** participating in the CCQA systems is held securely and that confidentiality is maintained. NCAC follows the Information Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act 1988. NCAC is committed to ensuring that all actions undertaken by NCAC comply with the Information Privacy Principles and acknowledges the importance of keeping the personal details of services and individuals confidential and secure. The Information Privacy Principles may be viewed at the Privacy Commissioner's website (www.privacy.gov.au) *Including staff/management of family day care schemes, long day care centres and outside school hours care services. **Validators are seconded by NCAC to complete Validation Visits (Step 3). ***Moderators are seconded by NCAC to complete Moderation Sessions (Step 4).
